Everton Join the race of getting Ndidi to Sign with them

Date:

Everton, an English Premier League team, is the most recent team to be associated with Nigerian international Wilfred Ndidi. The Toffees have made the midfielder an offer ahead of the upcoming campaign.

After an outstanding 2023–24 English Championship season with Leicester City, Wilfred Ndidi, a Nigerian international, has seen his stature rise once more, emerging as one of Europe’s most dependable and sought-after defensive midfielders.

The 27-year-old, who made 31 appearances this season and contributed four goals and five assists, was instrumental in Leicester’s promotion back to the Premier League.
Ndidi has two months remaining on the contract extension he signed in 2018, so he can negotiate terms with any team he wants.

The 27-year-old is eager to join a number of Premier League teams and Spanish powerhouse Barcelona on a free transfer this summer.
Sacha Tavolieri, a transfer specialist, claims that Everton has made Ndidi an offer.

“Wilfred Ndidi, a free agent this summer, has already received a proposal from the Toffees in an attempt to outpace the competition.” The Super Eagle hasn’t decided where he wants to go yet, but a number of clubs are already investigating his case. He scribbled, “Wait & See,” on his X handle.

The Nigerian signed a contract extension with the Foxes until 2024 after making a splash in 2017 for a reported £17 million, having previously played for Genk of Belgium.

The French website jeunesfooteux.com claims that Lucas Gourna-Douath of RB Salzburg is the best candidate to succeed Nigerian midfielder Ndidi, and Leicester City manager Enzo Maresca and his coaching staff are already preparing for life after Ndidi.

However, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Brentford, Crystal Palace, and Fulham are all vying for the Leicester City star, according to a report published on Friday by footballleagueworld.co.uk.

Galatasaray, a Turkish powerhouse, is also trying to take advantage of the midfielder’s contract predicament. Meanwhile, Mundo Deportivo said that Barcelona is eager to add Ndidi to their lineup of midfield possibilities.
