How To Apply For Nigerian Army Recruitment

The Nigerian Army has declared that it is accepting applications from women and non-tradesmen for enlistment.

This was announced on the official X page of the Nigerian Army on Friday, stating the application is free and starts from May 3 -4, 2024.

The post reads: “This is to inform the general public and all interested applicants that an online application for 87 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen and Women has commenced.

“Application starts from 3rd May-7th June 2024.”

Here are some of the steps to applying:

1. Visit https://recruitment.army.mil.ng

2. Complete the online application form

3. Submit it online and print a copy

4. Fill out the Guarantor Form

5. Application period: May 3, 2024, to June 7, 2024.

Basic Requirements:

1. Nigerian citizenship by birth

2. National Identity Card/NIN slip

3. Medically, physically, and psychologically fit

4. No criminal convictions

5. Valid birth certificate/age declaration

6. Certificate of state of origin

7. Height requirement: Male – 1.68 metres, Female – 1.65 metres

8. Age: 18 to 22 years for non-trades, up to 26 years for tradesmen/women by June 30, 2024

9. Minimum of four passes in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB

10. Trade Test/City Guild Certificate for tradesmen/women

Other requirements

1. Minimum Age (Non – Trades) 18

2. Maximum Age (Non – Trades) 22

3. Minimum Age (Trades) 18

4. Maximum Age (Trades) 26

5. Minimum Height (Qualification)

6. Minimum Educational Qualification: All applicants must have WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
